A Few Words on the Current Situation

When we opened Indulgence, we did so with a vision of it being a place of community. A place to go for a great, home-cooked meal and an indulgent treat, where the staff greets you with a smile and remembers your name and your favorite dishes. It has always been about personal connections for us and the current Covid-19 situation has made feeling connected hard, but we want you to know that we are still here, we still care and we miss seeing everyone at the cafe. We are doing our best to continue to provide food and desserts to the community that we love and navigate through the challenges we have been faced with. In order to keep our family and staff, as well as the community as safe as possible, we are currently open for contactless take-out only. Please continue to be patient with us as our items offered may change based on what we are able to get from our food suppliers, etc. This is a rapidly changing situation and we are trying to adapt day by day. Remember that we are still accepting  bakery pre-orders and we are always available to answer any of your questions (indulgencebakerylc@gmail.com if outside of business hours). Stay safe and know that we are all in this together!

Family Traditions

Owned by Mother/Daughter duo Marybeth and Meagan Higgins, Indulgence is a business built on a shared passion for food and hospitality. Having been involved in the restaurant industry from a young age, Marybeth opened her first cafe (Sweet Indulgence) in 1997 with her son Jeremy Hixon. Then in 2004 when Jeremy decided to open Si Italian Bistro & Bakery, Marybeth moved with him to run the bakery side of the business. Having grown up in restaurants most of her life, Meagan was bound to catch the bug. She worked throughout high school and college at her family's restaurants, eventually becoming her mother's bakery assistant and furthering her passion and enthusiasm for the industry. When Si Bistro closed it seemed like the natural progression for Marybeth and Meagan to form Indulgence and continue the family tradition. With Jeremy signed on as their chef, the equation was complete. Welcome to Indulgence, where family meets tradition and quality always comes first.

Cozy Space to Meet with Friends

We want everyone that Comes to Indulgence to feel right at home, like they are stepping into an old friend's house. We have worked hard to create a warm and welcoming environment, a place to meet with friends and family to share a nice meal or a warm cup of coffee and an indulgent dessert. It is important to us to support and be a part of our local community, which is why we work with local artists and provide a rotating space for them to display and sell  their work. So come on by and see us, we promise we will make you feel like family.
